Ever been watching a good movie with Chips....
And some one drops their chip, loaded to the hilt with beef, beans and salsa? The beef and beans are an easy clean up, but you can't get the red out completely? You start thinking that you will be stuck with a big red nasty reminder of that movie for the rest of your life?
Well, there's good news, there are some things you can do get the red out.
TO go through this full process, you need a few things:
-Several White Terry Clothe Towels
-3 large cups for holding liquids
-Non Bleach, Non Fabric Softener Laundry Detergent
With your ingredients, you will need to mix some things up. Take your laundry detergent, pour a table spoon full into 1 cup of hot water. Mix that up, and that will be your soap.
Take your vinegar, and add a half a cup of vinegar, to a half a cup of hot water.
Your last cup, fill it with hot water.
Now that you have your materials ready, lets get started:
1. Pick up large chunks, and as much liquid as possible with a clean terry clothe towel.
2. Apply your Soap detergent to the spot. Use a clean white terry clothe towel to blot up the spot. You can repeat this step if you are still getting red up on your towel.
3. Rinse with your water. Make sure not to over wet, as this can cause browning and other problems.
4. Apply your Vinegar mixture to the spot, and blot up with your towel. You can repeat this step if you need too.
5. Rinse with water.
Warnings: Overwetting on any step can cause problems, and not getting all of the detergents out can lead to further problems as well. If you don't get all the detergents out, they will get dirty, faster!
Once this is done, you have completed your spot removal! If you ever have a spot you can't get out, feel free to call me to see if there is anything I can do!
Happy Spotting, and to your healthy home!
P.S. Here's a video of me doing this!
